Bvlgari released Eau Parfumée au Thé Vert (for the non-French speaking people among us: bvlgari green tea perfume) in 1992.
This unisex cologne has notes of bergamot, orange blossom, cardamom, coriander, pepper, rose, jasmine, green tea, oakmoss, tonka bean, and beeswax.
Yes, quite a combination, but this led to Bvlgari’s, until then known for its jewelry and watches, first fragrance release.
To be honest, this perfume doesn’t really smell like green tea but who cares! It’s has a fresh fragrance with notes of citrus, smokey tea leaves, jasmine, cardamom and coriander to give it extra sweetness. This all leads to a delicate and discreet, yet lively scent, with the drawback of having a minimal lasting power.
They now even introduced it in bath and shower gel as well as refreshing towels!
Bulgari Green Tea (unisex), launched in 1997, possesses a blend of green tea, jasmine, rose and citrus. This one is recommended for evening wear.
They also launched two green tea perfumes where one is for women, and the other for men: Bvlgari Eau Perfumée (Green Tea).
