- 1 cup strongly brewed green tea (2 tea bags to 1 cup water)
- 2 cups mango nectar
- Ice cubes
- Mint sprigs for garnish
- Mango slivers for garnish
Combine tea and mango nectar in a pitcher. Serve over ice, garnished with mint sprigs and mango slivers.
- 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves
- 3 green tea bags
- 2 Tbsp honey
- 4 cups boiling water
- 2 cups sake, divided
(or leave it out for the non-alcoholic variation)
- 4 stalks lemon grass for garnish
Combine mint leaves, tea bags, honey and boiling water. Let steep for 5 minutes; remove tea bags. Refrigerate until chilled. Divide among 4 large ice-filled glasses. Add 1/2 cup sake to each glass. Garnish with a stalk of lemon grass.
- 12 cups water
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 3 inches fresh ginger, peeled and thinly sliced
- 12 to 16 green tea bags
- Limes, quartered
- Orange peel strips
- Ice cubes
1. In a large saucepan combine water, sugar, and ginger. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, covered, for 5 minutes.
2. Remove from heat. Add tea bags; let stand, covered for 3 minutes. Remove tea bags. Strain ginger from tea; discard ginger. Transfer tea to a 1-gallon pitcher or punch bowl. Cover; cool 1 hour. If desired, chill.
3. Meanwhile, on a 12-inch wooden skewer alternate strawberries, lime quarters, and orange peel strips. Place skewer inside pitcher or punch bowl as a decorative swizzle stick. Serve tea in glasses over ice cubes.
Make-Ahead Tip: Prepare tea, cover and cool several hours. Chill up to 24 hours.

In a large saucepan over high heat, combine the ginger and 6 cups of water and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add the mint and tea bags. Cover and let steep for 15 minutes. Strain the liquid into a large pitcher or other container. Add the honey and lemon juice; stir. Chill in the refrigerator. Serve in tall glasses over ice cubes and more mint leaves.
Iced Green Tea Recipe #6: Lemon Ginger Iced Green Tea
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup Splenda low-calorie sweetener
- 1 Tsp ground ginger
- 1 1/2 Tsp grated lemon peel
- 6 green tea bags
- 4 Tsp fresh lemon juice
1. Add water, Splenda, ground ginger, and lemon peel to medium saucepan and bring to boil over medium heat. Reduce heat to where it sustains a gentle boil and cook for about 7-8 minutes.
2. Remove from heat and add the green tea bags. Steep this tea mixture for 10 minutes, stirring or dunking the bags often. Remove tea bags and stir lemon juice into the tea liquid. Cover and chill for 1 hour.
3. To make a cup of iced tea, pour 1/4 cup of the concentrated tea mixture into a tall glass and stir in 3/4 cup of sparkling or seltzer water or club soda. Add ice cubes and enjoy!
